I'm not at home right now, so don't have my codex. But I was trying to find the rules for Black Templar command squads and it refers to the SM codex.

What it doesn't seem to clarify is if a marines in the Command squad can be upgraded to have power weapons since in standard command squads you can have vet. Sgts. to fill that role.

What weapon mix can I have in my command squad?

    Thanks for the help!

Not all the marines in a command squad can take power weapons. FOUR of them can be upgraded to specific roles: apothacary, techmarine, standard bearer and vet sergeant, and gain access to the armory. The rest have standard weapons and limited upgrade options.

for BT command squads- u may indeed give 4 of them (Vet sarg. etc) power weapons, the rest u may give terminator honours- but you can also exchange their bolters for pistols and close combat weapons

Yea but......i think it is to expensive. I know there are more attacks but if i want to give away points i would give it to the stormshield in the assault squad. That is about the best equipment the bt's can have for 3 pts.
