Ok I just calculated the point cost for a Necron Vehical with the following with the VDR.
Weapons: 6 Twin Linked Gauss Cannons
Troop Carring: 11
Final Cost: 160 points? (I am dislexic but come on)
Thats less than a Squad of 20 Warriors!
It has 48 attacks with Guass Cannons!
Could this be right? If not what is if you know.
you have to remember, there is no such thing as a correct VDR point calculation. It just has to be fair so that your opponent will allow you to use it. If an opponent thinks that it is way to goot, it is quite possible that that is true, but more importantly, (s)he won't let you play with it.
Where's your Baritone Saxophone?
hey Osaria your math doesn’t make any sense in your signature... just thought you should know.
P.S. these things aren’t perfect you should never assume that they are correct and be prepared to be a good sportsmen and raise the points.

Ok I think I know where my problem is then lol.
The basic vehicle, armour, Normal speed, Skimmer = 170pts
Transport capacity, add 11pts.
6 Twin-Linked Gauss Cannons, add 360pts.
Also, something to remember is that the VDR was created before the concept of "Defensive" weapons and the ability to fire all of them in a single shooting phase after movement... I recon they'll be touching up the VDR/CDR a bit for the 4thEd! =)
