If you pay the points to upgrade your Biker to Terminator Honours, is there anyway to give him two 1-handed weapons to get another Attack in close combat?
Also, what is is already armed with? I guess my question is does the bike count as a weapon since it is listed under wargear? If not, then are the bikers assumed to have anything?
If I upgrade a biker to having a flamer, does the flamer replace the twin linked bolters or is a weapon that the biker carries?
1. no bikers need 1 hand to control the bike s they don't get any extra attacks for having an additional ccw.
2. the biker carries the flamer
Actually, in the new codex, there's no rule prohibiting a SM Biker from taking an extra CCW -- no mention of needing a hand to control the bike. So if a bike is upgraded to termie honors, then they can get an extra CC attack, from my understanding of the new codex.
I also don't see anything prohibiting them from taking two 1-handed weapons to get an extra attack, but it doesn't make much sense logically! Unless they get off the bike to fight, but then they wouldn't get the toughness bonus.
However, if I give him Terminator Honours that would be 2 attacks and a power weapon would then ignore armour saves or I could give a power fist to get the strength bonus?

The bike does not count as a CCW.
Weapons added to the squad are carried by the bikers, they do not replace the TL bolters. They are in addition.
I personally would equip the sergeant with a powerfist and bolt pistol. I have linked 3 tacticas below. 2 bike tacticas, and one powerfist tactica. After reading them, all your questoins about bikers should be answered. Youll also pick up a few nasty tactics to use.

Efficiency VS Point Cost VS Ease Of Use - Your best bets:
1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant
2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers
3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC

I'm going to cry if one more person says SMs on bikes cannot take additional CCWs.. You dont want to see me cry do you? So please stop saying it
Also, why would a bike count as a weapon? I would like to point out that all items fall under the "Armory".. Inside the armory you have "Weapons" Which have 1-handed and 2-handed categories.. Further down you have "Wargear" which comprises of normal wargear and "Relics"
Bikes are listed under wargear, them being considered a weapon is new to me :p First time ive heard anyone ask that heh
Anyway, Chaosbrynn is correct on the issue and yes im not adding really anything useful but I feel the need to point out the bizarre nature of bikes counting as weapons
On the topic of Bikes...
The "Stationary" rule for shooting at max range clearly only applies to mounted weapons... But the 4thEd rules no longer make any difference about shooting Bike-Mounted weapons and carried weapons, and then assaulting.
The way I look at it, a biker carrying a separate Plasmagun can now fire and still assault, even though his weapon is not bike-mounted.
Have I overlooked something, or is this now the case?
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
You're right Uzi.. It's a bit dumb but that's what it says in the book. It makes bikers with plasma really not very effective
