This is a question that arose in the army list section, I'm bringing it here for more visibility.
I've been told that I cannot summon daemons of opposing Chaos Gods' side. For
example, I cannot get Bloodletters and Daemonettes in the same army list. But
in the Chaos Space marine Codex,
On page 38 in the codex, under "Ancient Enemies"
"... (blah about who cannot have units of another God)... An army led by a
character with the Mark of Chaos Undivided, or no mark at all, has less cause
to fear the wrath of an angry patron, so may fiend any units of any alignment
in the army.
Also, a mark of chaos undivided can summon any daemon of any mark, and there's
no restriction anywhere in the codex that says Khorne and Slaneesh daemons
can't mix except for the line I just quoted above.
Alpha Legion can only summon daemons thru cultists, so no conflict there
Does this mean I can summon any daemon packs I want as an Alpha Legion
The restriction on which demons you can use is purely based upon the generals mark.. If your general has mark of the chaos undivided then you may use any demons you want regardless of which god they are from
Agree, but you will need an icon and
you will not get the plus 1 for favor summoning.
