Dose a unie cound as being cohereint in a building if i have models on different levels of a building. Like if i have 10 orks on the bottom floor and 5 morer on a floor directily above the first orks dose the unit count as coherent even though the hight is more than 2 inches
I always say so, if your using cityfight it may specify differently but i dont use it, i always class buildings as one height unless otherwise stated in which case we use standard coherancy but acting as if they were on the same floor for spacings.
Ask not a question of the eldar, for they will give you three answers all of which are true and horrifying to know.
40k rules do not really take into account height. I would say yes, within reason. You cant really look at the rulebook and get this answer because it doesnt exist. Buildings arent always built to scale
If your building floors are more than 2" apart I wouldn't complain. Why fault the guy that built them? Of course if I enter the building and engage those inside in HtH and start moving up floors and you start measuring distances then we would have to talk.
I would also have an issue with the setup if you put guys on the first and third floor but fail to put anyone on the second.
