Quick question, I'd appreciate everyones imput. The leader of my Annihilation Angels (chaos DIY) is a fairly tall model. (see pics here) He is converted off the nightbringer model. I used this because he is flying with the cloak/robe flowing behind him. My point is that I don't want to treat him as a monstrous creature. (I did not give him dem. stature) So do I have to treat him as such or not? I'm fairly sure that I don't have to because he has nothing in his wargear/options that would make him a monstous creature. However like I said, he's twice as tall as a marine model-wise. The only thing that makes him tall is the fact that he's flying with the whole robe thing. Also if your model was say, standing on a pile of skulls that made him tower over marines, you wouldn't treat him as a monstrous creature because of the size of the model right? It's the same kind of thing I believe. What do you think?
I wouldn't count him as a MC, he doesn't look towering enough and any way, you only have to inform your opponent before hand. Nice Model
Out side of a dog, book is mans best friend, inside of a dog, it's rather hard to read. - Groucho Marx
They'll kill him with self confidence, after poisoning him with words. - Desolation row - Bob dylan
Oh, Fishy Fish. - Monty Python And The Meaning of Life
Does he have demonic flight? if so, just say that he's flying
The physical size of the model has nothing to do with how it is represented in the game itself. A Tyranid Lictor (with it's Talons up), for example, is more than twice as tall as a Marine, but like a Marine it is not monstrous and it is size-class 2.
I remember reading somewhere that it is only illegal to make the model smaller. So the model you've got is fine.
People only get pissed off when you do something stupid like put it on a base 24 inches wide to simply block LOS and other stupid things like that.

Thanks for your help. I figured I was right I just wanted to see if anyone thought differently. Since no one does apparently then im fine.
Well think the model would make a better demon prince than a lord :p
But its very nice nonetheless.
"Heresy is like a garden weed, it won't stop feeding until you... BURN THE WHOLE DAMN GARDEN WITH A FLAMER, BURN IT, BURN IT TO HELL!!!!!" "Is there a wittle puppy in the garden? ITS A DAEMON! BURN IT!"
yeh i wouldnt say it would count as a monstrous creature in game unless you have wargear that sais otherwise
Just warn your opponent of the fact that he ain't monstrous but flying, and there shouldn't be any problems (unless they are unsportsmanlike)
Great convertions shouldn't be discarded and deserve to be fielded ^_^
Yeah as long as you tell your opponent beforehand that it's just flying I don't think that he will argument with you!
Have fun fielding it!
PS: the link didn't work for me!
