I've just started a new dark eldar army (selling a bunch of nids, eldar and DH if anyone is interested... ) and i've got a couple of questions on DE jetbikes.
1.has the turboboost rules on them been changed to the rulebook version. namely that the invulnerable save only works against shooting now?
2.does the upgrade to toughness work as upgraded toughness or as a complete statline change? ie is an archon on a bike at 3(4) or 4 toughness? this is important as it detirmines whether S6 weaponry can instant kill him...
can i have references to codices, faq's and rulebook wherever possible?
I don't have the BGB handy and I don't play DE so I'll try and answer your question with the knowledge stored in my head.Originally Posted by TzarNikolai
1. I thought the invulnerable for was for the opponents next turn, their armour save becomes invulnerable.
2. It's only an upgrade to his toughness, so S6 weapons will insta-splat him. Thank god.
... only triumph could turn pooing his pants into a good thing..
The BGB takes precedence as it is the most recent.

I agree with Helotaxi, and as for the extra toughness, it is a general rule that it doesnt count towards instant death. Where this isnt the case (like crisis suits), the codex should say so.
