    shooting viechles in cover....

    Ok heres the question,

In the rule book if a viechle is "hulled down" any pentrating hits are glancing hits on a 4+

    is this correct?

i though before if any viechle was "hulled down" any hits are glancing.....

i cant remember the page number since my buddy took the rule book, just trying to get the final rule on this.

If the vehicle is 'hull down' meaning 50% or more is behind cover, then penetrating hits are downgraded to glancing on 4+. pg. 69

Now vehicles can fire more weapons on the move though...they have become more vulnerable, but also more dangerous.

With the 3rd ed rules on hull down and vehicle damage and one of the campaign traits, a vehicle could become indestructible. All shots are made glancing by hull down, and all damaged chart rolls made on the glancing hits table suffered neg 1 because of the trait making it impossible to get a 6 and blow the stupid thing up.

ya to me things like dreads and walkers are just allot weaker now, whats the point of even keeping them in cover so much stuff punchers through AV 12 it aint funny, and dreads can get quite expensive.

seems to me they were trying to go more troop base, since allot of lists u see people only take the madatory (2) troop choices.
