DO i have to select what kind of ammo certan guns have before the game if there is no point cose difference or can i change what i am using mid-game?
Ex- Space Marine Missle Launchers do i have to chose Krak or Frag before the game or can i change what one i fire throught the game?
Ex- The Tau Hammerhead RailGun Do i have to chose solid shot or submission before the game starts or can i change what i use throught the game?
In one of the more unrealistic aspects of the game, guns don't have to be pre-loaded at all. Unless the special ammo is an upgrade you have to buy, you can always choose freely when you fire a shot which type of ammo to use.
This can be rationalised by the fact that most guns cool enough to fire multiple ammo types probably have shot selectors.
In response to your question, you choose which type of shot you will use BEFORE you fire each round. You can change it every round.
"They say the Darkness consumes you. They don't say what happens after It's done."
Weapons that have multiple fire types should have a default. This way when the missile launcher hits your marine they can't say "obviously that was a krak round" after the fact.
Why isn't it realistic? Mortars and anti-tank weapons that are manually loaded each shot could easily carry multiple types of shells. Even current assault weapons allow the soldier to customize the shot for the particular use: M16 with M204 launcher or the new OICW with a 5.56mm and 20mm cannon in one package.
I do not criticize. I do not offend. All I offer is my opinion which means only as much as you make it.
