I was wondering if you have to announce what is in a Falcon or what not.
"They say the Darkness consumes you. They don't say what happens after It's done."
No, you are not required to declare what is in a Transport vehicle.
There is a note to this effect on page 81 of the BGB under Deployment, the last paragraph I think.
how did those troops get in the falcon?
you put heavy support down first then troops etc. you have to either deploy your troops or tell your opponent where they are. eg reserves, in a falcon. (or at least say you deployed them)
if you have only one falcon your opponent will know where they are.
if you have 2 then i suggest writing down which falcon they're in (so no one can complain later) but you don't have to say which falcon they're in.
You need to declare what you are deploying, to prove it is the correct type
Remember you deploy the squad, not the transport.. Therefore you say "I deploy my tactical squad".. Not "I deploy my rhino"
As for Falcons you have to declare what is going inside when you deploy the unit, because you have to prove its the right FOC slot and the correct # of models. After deployment tho you do not have to tell your opponent anything
