What i am wondering is, when exactley does it count as instant death when Deepstriking? I know if they land off the board they die, or in difficult terrain, but is that it? What if they land on a building, or barrels or something along those lines. What happens?
I changed a word when I quoted you - difficult terrain does not kill you when landing from a Deep Strike. Only impassable terrain does. (And landing within 1" of an enemy model)Originally Posted by IbramGaunt
Well, let's see. The building/barrels - are they difficult terrain, or impassable? If it's difficult, then place the model as normal and try to build a ring. As soon as you can't create the full ring, the rest of the models are destroyed.
You can place the models in difficult terrain (like barrels), but you still need to be able to complete the entire rings as you place models. Once you can no longer place models without completing a full ring, you start losing models.
