I recently played a game against an eldar player, and for the first tilme i took a librarian with me. I have not much experience with how to properly use this char.
So i have a few questions.
this is how i did it last time. using fury of the ancients.
i designate a line along which i will send my construct.
I make a psychic test( given i make it)
i roll a d3 to see how many attacks i get.
every 'model' that is along the line is checked to see 'to wound'.
saves are made.
is this correct?
or do i need to apply d3 attacks to a whole group( squad, unit)? so best of all i can get is 3 attacks on a whole group of lets say 10 space marines?
i thoughd i needed to make a line through as much individual models?
can someone help me with this please?
If you pass your psychic test choose a spot on any table edge. Make a straight line from the librarian to the table edge (a measuring tape turned upside down is useful for this) assuming you don't run into friendly models or something in close combat every unit along that line takes d3 strength 5 hits and has to take a pinning test.
So yes, you could only get a max of three attacks against the unit. Using your example you could get anywhere from 1-3 attacks against the ten man space marine unit. It's main use is not to cause damage, it's supposed to make multiple units take pinning tests.
