Ok, I am currently assembling a DE reaver bike squad, and I kind of wondered about this; A chaos player that I know says that bikes count as stationary when fiering, but my dex says nothing about it one way or another, so does that rule count for jetbikes too? If it does, I would be able to rapid fire the riders splinter pistols and the splinter rifles on the bikes, and still charge in the assault phase, right?
Well, first, you can only shoot one weapon per rider; so you have to choose to shoot your pistol, or your rifle, can't shoot both on a single-man bike.Originally Posted by Farseer Sareld

you may fire one bike mounted weapon per rider as if you were stationary and you may still charge after firing a rapid fire weapon.
So for you specific situation your rider may fire the pistol as if he had moved, or fire the splinter rifle on the bike as if he had not moved and still charge.
For confirmation see page 54 of the big rule book.
A rules lawyer is someone who says that money changhers are ok in church becuase jesus only threw them out of the temple.
if ur bikes have a twin linked weapon <S4, then you can assualt after4wards, any higher then you can't assualt. i find a flamer a handy weapon as i can assualt afterwards.

2. In 5th edition, all bikes are Relentless. See page 53 and 76 of the BRB. They can always fire and assault and do not, as the above post implies, function like vehicles with defensive weaponry.
