In the Chaos Space Marine Codex it states that if you have to make the model at least 10 inches.
Is this true or can you just make it a Daemon Prince? Give me your opinion.

No matter the race
He who sheds blood with me here today
Shall be my kinsmen eternal
Forged in battle and bonded in blood
With oaths of friendship and loyalty
As long as our races shall last

It doesn't say anything about a model 10" tall. It says the model <represents> ...at least 10' tall. It does say "takes on the aspect of a mighty demon prince" so the demon prince model is perfect. It is one of the few entries that requires a specific base size.

10' is 10 foot, not 10 inch. For your information, a Space Marine is 7 foot tall, and Ogryns are about 9 feet tall, so to use Daemonic Stature the model would have to be a little taller than an Ogryn.

Imagine a 10" tall Greater Daemon running around the field, all the SM and IG would be desperately trying to stand on it. lol.

yes u can use a deamon prince, why the heck would they make them if you cant use em. Like they said it means ten feet as in teh 40k universe, therefore it can be larger or smaller and u cn model ur own appropriatly

I read in a FAQ somwhere where someone asked:
"Does the deamon prince really have to be 10 feet tall!?"
"- No, but the model should _represent_ a creature of that size...."
