What is the legality of making your own forgeworld models? I know some RTT runners are quite liberal with the rules, but what about in a GW sanctioned tourny? Or gamesday? Can I create my own chaos spawn? Same size, same base size, just as impressive, just as ugly. Can it use the forgeworld rules? It would be made out of citidel/GW pieces so no worries with the rules there. Just wondering.
Taken from the Grand tournament rule set:
"Non-Citadel models are NOT permited in the Grand Tournament, and will be removed in the same way as non-painted models.
Conversions must begin as citidel miniatures, and contain a majority of Citadel miniature components."
Thats pretty much the guidelines that GW sets up. It seems that you can add forgeworld bits to a Citadel mini, so long as the majoity of the model is still Citadel. For RTT tournaments they'll generally be more leinient, but the only sure way to tell is check wth the organiser.

Everything you have been told is a lie!
