does anyone sometimes play with a few house rules? i'd like to hear them.
Well, this one time my friend and my cousin were playing a game, and I was bored so I declared myself terrain master and whenever I felt like it, I could place terrain wherever I wanted to and move it around and stuff. My cousin wasn't really happy about it and we've never done it since, but it was pretty funny.
Being able to assault from land raiders and crusaders is one thats used quite often where i play.
^^ why can't you normally?
i play with a small one....when your main lord/HQ dies everyone is at -2 to leadership. if they're fearless they loose that skill and become -1 to leadership. represents the army getting shaken up when they dont have their belovered leader with them any more.
we use another one which we've made up some craters, big and little around the size of the blast and ordinence templates.
When say a mortar hits a squad or maybe scatters we place a crater were it landed to show the damage to the battle field. can use the craters as cover aswell.
well in my club we have a small house rule...
A D6 must always be on the table not on any terrain.
any D6 that comes on a terrain becomes a rerole
no discussions thats the way!^^
and another one is to complain as mutch a u just can @ a dudes old stuff / bad painting and so on^^
loots of complainment on me <_<
oo i forgot a big rule the biggest looser of a tourny. Must go and get a big order of like 20 pizzas
often the necron players
I have heard of a rule that when you have fired a certain amount of shots you must reload!
reloading takes 1 turn!
we also play with a cool rule that you may attack in close combat as far as your sword or axe or gun etc. can reach!
for example say a champion has a 2 inch weapon (yeah right) it can attack guys 2 inchs from the model!
also another rule is you may attack in a sweeping movement with a sword or axe or hammer
so basicly it hits everyone within a inch of the model!
so long everybody!
Damn straight homies! Of course tau kill SOB then they go on a pantie raid
one of mine is, well i have daemon hunters and it gets orbital strikes, u can only fire on a terrain piece. but my house rule is that i get to fire anywhere...
we have the "Homie don't play that game!" rule. Once per game, when an opponent declares a target for one of his squads to shoot or assault, you can immediately declare that the unit has missed its chance to shoot/assault. Don't ask about how that rule got its name...
