    Assault Weapons + CC Weapon

Does having an assault weapon plus a close combat weapon confer the +1 attack bonus in close combat?

I think the answer is no, but I'd like confirmation. An example of this situation is if I give my Librarian a Storm Bolter (Storm Bolter=Assault, Force Weapon=CC Weapon). The only reason I'm asking really is because all the models show the storm bolter being held with one hand (at least all the ones I've seen).

    Thanks!

The way the weapon shoots does not make a difference in CC.

The only way to get +1 attack for weapon in each hand is to have 2 one handed weapons.

Only True Grit changes that and that only works with bolters and you lose the +1 for charging (when you charge).

The storm bolter can be held one handed but its not a one handed weapon thus from your example you would not get the +1 for weapon in each hand.

Just because a weapon is single-handed does not mean that it can contribute to the bonus. It has to be a close-combat weapon. Pistols count as a close combat weapon as well as a shooting weapon, which is why they can contribute to providing the bonus.

True Grit allows the Bolter to count as a single-handed weapon, but it is the fact that it also counts Bolters as Pistols in close combat that allows the Bolter to contribute to the +1A for having two close combat weapons.

Why do the survivors remain anonymous -- as if cursed -- while the dead are revered? Why do we cling to what we lose while we ignore what we still hold?
Name none of the fallen, for they stood in our place, and stand there still in each moment of our lives.
