I was wonder over this the past week and I still havent found an answer. I was wondering if there was any difference between the new City of Death book that is coming out over the old Cityfight codex. If so what are they because I was wondering if I sould just buy the old cityfight codex or if the City of Death book will pretty much cover what I need to know about cityfighting rules.
The city of death book will over-ride the city fight book. So just wait a while to pick up the city of death.
Cities of Death will be ditching some of the cityfight rules (especially the close combat one apparently) in place of keeping up with using the more current rules. The cityfight book is good, but its going to be outdated in a matter of months so unless you can find one for $3-4 (american) I wouldnt bother getting it.

Plus I think it will have much better terrain ideas and pretty much update the whole cityfight thing. I'm definetely buying it.
Well i had a look at the Cities of Death Codex on Sunday at Conflict Scotland. There is a lot of diffrences for it when compared with the old Cityfight Codex so there is no point buying Codex Cityfight at the moment as most of the rules in it are irrelevant.
COuld you give us some hints of what it contains. I mean no rules but terrain and missions and the such.
The core rules havent changed from the BGB in fact coherency and blast templates are the same. The newest thing is the Stratgems which you can use. One allows the entire army to infiltrate, some give certain buildings specail abilites etc.
That sounds really cool, cant wait to buy it.
