Combi weapons are rated as a rapid fire weapon. This makes sense for the bolter part of it, but what about when you fire the flamer or melta part? What is the weapon considered when shooting the flamer or melta, is it assault, or still rapid fire?
I'd think it would be considered assault, or what ever the normal weapon type is. If not, then combi weapons are truely worthless.
It is considered what ever weapon it is. Therefore the melta will shoot as a normal melta, regardless of the combi weapons statline. The flamer will not be rapid fire but will fire like a normal flamer.
