Just a quick question
Alot of the newer players of my club (no not me:shifty: ) think that they can fire one shot with lets say a bolter and assault. Is this legal? I dont think so as these people also move and fire one shot aswell:shifty:
No, that's the rule for pistols... If you fire pistols once, you can still assault. If you fire pistols twice (only can do this when stationary), then you can't assault. If someone shoots a rapid fire weapon at all, they cannot assault.
There are a few exceptions, such as terminators, bikes, and other units that always count as stationary when shooting... these can assault after firing any weapon.
Yeah, there are no in betweens in the rules. If you only fire one shot with a rapid fire weapon, you still can't assault and you just lost a shot.

I believe that was the rule for 3rd Edition -- which no longer applies.Originally Posted by SilverMane

Name none of the fallen, for they stood in our place, and stand there still in each moment of our lives.

3rd edition is dead, long live 4th edition!
Just out of curiousity, whats next? Maybe you can make an issue about the fact that GW didn't define the action of 'rolling' a D6 to actually mean dropping it in such a manner as to produce a random result; thus making it perfectly acceptable to just put them down with the face up of your choice?
Now this thread is dead! Long live non spammy threads! Maybe some of us can achieve that one day.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.
