I don't doubt this has been covered before, but I could not find it easily in 26 pages!
I would like to know what counts as a template weapon for ignoring cover saves.
Coming frm a guard background, I am certian this refers to Flame Templates.
What about Blast and Ordanance templates?, do they either of these ignore cover saves?
The Ordo Xenos.
Template weapons use the flamer template. The circular templates are referred to as blast and large blast markers. Read the description of Template Weapons on page 31 of the BGB.
EDIT: Just reread your post. Since the blast and large blast descriptions don't specify that they ignore cover, you still get a cover save from these attacks.

"The internet perceives censorship as damage, and routes around it."
It should be noted that Barrage weapons regardless of Blast or Large Blast can in some situations negate cover saves from WYSIWYG terrain. Read 4thEd page page 31, right column, "Firing Barrages", last paragraph (before the example weapon statline and the black fluff box), line four: "With barrage weapons, ..."
