I've been working on army building as of late, and particularly like the command squad.
Now, I note that making the command sergeant into a command v-sgt allows for other members of the unit to take terminator honors themselves at the cost of +yaddayadda per unit.
Now my questions.
1.) If one member of the unit takes terminator honors, do they all have to?
2.) Simply having terminator honors does NOT permit you access to the armory, unless explictly stated, yes? So no power-fisted standard bearers or power weapon armed apothecaries.
3.) This is NOT a cheap-ass way to get t-honors for attached ICs, yes? I've had people trying to convince me I can do it that way and save on points (which sounds like dogflop to me, and (I don't have the codex in front of me atm) I'm fairly certain it states something to the effect of being for the other normal marines in the squad.)
4.) As a small side question. With the trust your battle brothers trait, does the IC count as a member of the unit for purposes of buying the true-grit/counterattack ability when he's attached to the command squad?
Thanks for the help.
Sinjin is correct on everything except point #1. When you take a Veteran Sergeant and then chose to upgrade the members of the command squad with Terminator Honours, it is done for all of the other members of the squad, you do not get to pick and choose.
Thanks for the feedback and clarification.
Yeah, I know command squads get out of hand pricewise real easy...and knowing that I'd need to take t-honors for all of them ifI took it for one of them...
Lets just say I'm not rich enough to shell out 100pts for t-honors.
