Does the Bloodthirster count as having a Mark of Khorne, since the codex describes them as living icons of their respective gods? I need to know this because I'd rather my Berzerkers be counted as troop choices and not elites, otherwise I may have to take Kharn into the army, and the betrayer doesn't sound too handy in this match.

Tau: 4/4/3 - 50%
DaemonHunters: 1/2/0 - 33.3%
Dark Angels: 3/1/0 - 75%
well if the 'thirster is your only HQ then i'd say yes he does count as having the mark of khorne for troops purposes, but theres bound to be many out their who say otherwise.
if this is a WE army then the serkers already count as troops.

In the codex it states that if there is no other HQ choice the Aspiring Champion that the greater demon is possessing is considered to be the army's commander. If he has the mark of khorne, then sure. This rule was made to protect Word Bearer and Black Legion armies who have an undivided Aspiring Champion possessed by a greater demon; they still get to count their undivided troops as troops.
