Do walkers get locked in CC or can they move out of it? Also, can they fire weapons in CC like other vehicles? The book says they "Fight like infantry" but I'm not sure if that just refers to the rolls being made and WS being used to determine hits. Its seems like they would be able to walk out of a pile of infantry if they so chose.
Walkers have a WS and just like infantry they must remain until its over. Regular vehicles cannot be locked and may drive off after an assault.
Just out of curiousity, whats next? Maybe you can make an issue about the fact that GW didn't define the action of 'rolling' a D6 to actually mean dropping it in such a manner as to produce a random result; thus making it perfectly acceptable to just put them down with the face up of your choice?
They are locked, and lock those they are in combat with. The winner of such a battle does get to follow up, weather Consolidate or Massacre. They cannot fire weapons into or out of a CC.
Yep you get locked in combat with any vehicle with a WS value. The same thought is behind it as a normal close combat between infantry: turn around and you get hit in back. This especially nice if you tie up infantry which can't hurt you.
NOTE: If there ten guys around the walker at the end of CC you get a automatic glancing hit.
Walkers cannot fire in combat unfortunatly

Since walkers either count as 5 or 10 models depending on their frontal armour, this changes with different walkers. So 10 men will do the trick for a Sentinel, but you'll need a minimum of 20 to pull this off against Dreadnoughts, Defilers and similar.
