So I play a game the other day and got WHOOPed by a chaos force.
The killer was this point of being a DaemonHunter all Daemon Packs, Nurglings and Daemonic Beasts come back from the dead using the sustained attack scenario...
Can someone please explain how this works as it aint much fun having these hordes of khorne Berzerkers coming back and killing everything.
You were playing a MEATGRINDER MISSION, so as defender your only job is to have at least one single model alive at the end of 6-7 turns (since variable game length is in play).
If he kills every last guy of yours, he wins. Deployment zones as normal.
16,000+ of Eldar (only need flyers)
7,000+ of Nids (want heirophant)
6,000+ of Space Marines (need rever titan)
4,400+ of Cygnar (all models for the faction)
1,500+ of Legion (just started)
ok, sorry about that. well anyway,
What he's talking about is the special rule on pg. 8 of DH Codex-only demonic things (other then graeter deamons, princes etc) can come back as on pg. 193 of the 40k rulebook. Not all troop choices (no berserkers) just lesser (troop) daemons. Can someone please explain how this works as it aint much fun having these hordes of khorne Berzerkers coming back and killing everything.
hope thats better & clears things up.

I'm sorry Cadian_Munkey but that was not a good post.
1. Try not to give to detailed answers to rules questions. It breaks copyright.
2. No web-speak please! a lot of people here don't have English as their 1st language. Besides its annoying as heck to read!
3. It's a forum, not a chatroom. And LO even has a spellchecker now so please spell words correctly. If you don't have time to correct your post then don't post until you do have time.
I'm not angry, it's just its best to lay down the law before you get into a habit.
Check out my Codex: Farmyard Animals here!
If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
Opp... sorry I made a mistake it was the bloodletters that were coming back.
So they are Troop.. so that means that the next turn they just turn on up again?
Yeah pretty much. i'm not sure if you have to remind them of the rule (any help here would be great...) but if they bring it up then yeah, they just come back again :hmm: i'd suggest reading the codex & rule book entry so they cant cheat you over where they come back etc.
