    Blood Frenzy extra movement...

I have been told that the Mark of Khorne's extra movement from Blood Frenzy ignores difficult terrain. Now I have access to the Chaos codex and it does not specifically say that this is the case(unless I just didn't see it). Does that extra +D6 move ignore terrain or not?

Bonus movement generally ignores difficult terrain because you only roll for difficult terrain when you do your normal move. Consolidation, sweeping advances, fleet, etc all do not require difficult terrain rolls because they aren't part of normal movement that units do per turn

Plus you're really rolling for difficult terrain already when you make the move. It would be like...you roll, get a 3, and then what? Roll a D3 to see how far you actually move? It's too complicated.

I don't have my chaos codex with me at work, but if the blood frenzy rules does not state that it ignores difficult terrain, then the movement is halved when going over difficult ground. The BGB states explicitly that special movement is always halved unless the special rules override that fact.

So things like the Blood Angel's rage, fall back moves, and the blood frenzy move will be halved in terrain.

Thanks moob. Didn't have my big book handy at the time of posting.

    Now I see the light.

Yessir, you are correct. Remember you round up when halving the frenzy roll, effectively rolling a D3..

Only if all the movement is in terrain.

See the bgb about when to roll for difficult terrain tests. As to special movement rates in terrain, check bgb p 16, top right. Or USR's bgb p 74 and 75.
    My armies:
16,000+ of Eldar (only need flyers)
    7,000+ of Nids (want heirophant)
6,000+ of Space Marines (need rever titan)
4,400+ of Cygnar (all models for the faction)
    1,500+ of Legion (just started)
