hello all. um ive heard of people using allies in battles, and i was wondering how this worked, namely id like to take some models from the Deamonhunters list with my space marines to help kill off some necrons.
You'll need the approprite codex/Army List to use them first off. Then just check the Allies rules. All of the armies that can be chosen as allies are clearly outlined in their list along with what you can take and how much. WitchHunters, DeamonHunters, Kroot Mercenaries, and Deathwatch Kill teams are all available as allies, but there are restrictions depending on what army you play.

Yeah, like Mastershake said, you'll need the codex for the Allies you want to field. You can find the Kroot Mercenary codex online for free here, so you can see an example of how the rules for Allies work. The rules are pretty similar for DH and WH, with the exception of Heavy Support choices.
