Ok, this one has me stumped.
If arco flagellants with their drugs turned on, begin their movement phase 1" from the closest enemy (and thus cannot legally make any movement toward the nearest enemy) do they still have to roll for additional movement and risk suiciding?
Just make sure you "activate" when you are ready, since after that they are "dead" (non scoring and all).
16,000+ of Eldar (only need flyers)
7,000+ of Nids (want heirophant)
6,000+ of Space Marines (need rever titan)
4,400+ of Cygnar (all models for the faction)
1,500+ of Legion (just started)
Q. arcos move(roll for movement), charge (roll for attacks). enemies turn. still in combat (roll for attacks). your turn. still in combat, do you roll in your movement phase? or just your assault phase?
I would assume that if you are 1" away and make your mandatory move you still roll, but just don't actually move the distance rolled becuase you can't. I can't see any logical reason the arco-flagellants would die in "reality".
If you have already activated the Arco's Implant Injectors, then they are subject to Holy Rage, which states that they "must move at their maximum Movement rate +D6" towards the nearest enemy unit." If every model in the unit is already 1" away from an enemy model (unlikely, but possible), then they still roll the D6, because they must. Once they get there, there is no need to move further, but they still must roll.
