Me and my friend where wondering if you could move a tank any or all move the full langth exept for one inch and use that to turn your tank the way you want it to face. For example tau hammerhead can move 12 inch. So i move eleven inches foward and use the one inch to turn the tank the way i want to. please give feed back thank you guys.
I think there was just a thread on this, but I'll tell you. You measure from the tanks furtherest outcropping (facing the direction you move) to the tanks furthest outcropping after moving.
Also remember you can turn to face during the shooting phase and have it not count as movement.

There was a change in the new rules about the "free" turn allowed to vehicals.
P61: you can move as far as the vehical can go and face in any direction. ( same as it has always been ) But once you stop, you are done.
The "free" turn that we used to have has ben modified to allow only vehicals that have not moved at all to turn to face any direction during the shooting phase. P64 "TURNING TO FACE"
If you move during the movement phase, you may NOT rotate the vehical during the shooting phase. You may rotate any turrents you have. This is important because it stops the 180 that transport vehicals used to do after dropping off their cargo from rear hatches.
