Default What Ever Happened to the 40k hazards?

i remember around 3 years ago the Australian games workshop website had a downloadable pdf of rules called 40k hazards.

the sheet included around 60 random rules you could use to change the environment for a game. the site has now changed and i'm wondering if that mini supplement is still in existence somewhere on the games workshop website or possibly elsewhere on the net.

thanks.

gintoki.

i'm guessing the 40k hazards are lost forever

those area changes were completely unbalanced but made for some interesting casual games and were really varied and thought out from hot climates to warp riped environments and even lands where beasts lurked the battlefield attacking people at random.

i'll probably try and write up my own 40k hazards for casual games and post it onto the rules developement forum; although i won't be using the D66 that the original guy had!

I remember these. I was a wee one back then, but there were rules like "The Fabric of Reality is unstable - you must roll to do anything, and if you fail the roll, you roll on a chart to see the horrible results"

or

"Noxious gasses are abundant on the battlefield - anybody with exposed skin must take a saving throw at the beginning of every turn, otherwise they must be removed as a casualty - they died from the poison"

etc..I've actually been wanting to find these for a while.
