I am a big fan of Dreadnoughts (I have 3, but hope to get a Venerable), so are there any purely Dreadnought Battle Formations?
I have written one myself, but it is in Word, so I can send it only in e-mail. If you would like to see it, PM me with your e-mail and I will send you a copy.
Space Marines: 4,000pts - 7/7/2
Imperial Guard: Under Construction...
if you like to use alot of dreadnought use master of the forge and if you actully use his repair give him a bike to get around. with master of forge you can get 6 dreadnoughts ive run this with 3 ironclads and 3 venerables the ironclads podding in.

I personally am a big fan of what your trying to do with this formation, but find it signifigently under powered. In Appocalypse you are proposing to march a unit of multiple dreadnaughts across the board as they are not able to use drop pods, flank marching them might be interesting but the 75 extra points you pay for this unit gives you rerolls against a single superheavy, that would very likely fall to four or five dreadnaughts without this upgrade and now count as wrecked whenever an mmobilized result is given to them. It would scare the hell out of an opponent to see a unit of a dozen or so dreadnaughts to be marching towards his lines, but between not being able to split your fire being wrecked on immobilsed results, coherency issues, and a single squad being able to damage multiple dreadnaughts in a single turn of shooting I simply don't see it as an advantage to your list.
Ask me about the Black and White Space Marine on the Black and White Bike!!!
