Since Spearhead is out now, I thought it high time to start a thread for it.
So please post your thoughts, idea's, rules stuff as related to Spearhead.
Do keep this thread mature and civil, please.
As of June 1st 2010 Spearhead can be found in part in White Dwarf 365 (in the US) and part on Games-workshop.com
Wait, I don't yet have the white dwarf (so sorry if the answer to my question is in there.)
Do the units take up slots each(all 3) from your normal force organisation chart? do they all only take up 1 slot or is there another force organisation chart attached for spearhead?
And are the tanks/whatever then in a unit of 2-3 tanks/whatever or are they separate?

You may any number of spearhead formations, though only 1 of each. These can be in addition to the normal Force Organization chart.
So you can have all 3 support choices and also spearhead formations that include heavy support tanks and the like.
Check out the Getting Started With Spearhead on GW's site. It has the force organization chart (though not in depth, they want us to buy the White Dwarf.). Though I suspect in a month or so the full Spearhead rules will be on the site.

I would go into more details about choosing a force, but am afraid that this post may get taken down. Anyways everything I just mentioned can be found in more detail scattered around the GW website.
Ask me about the Black and White Space Marine on the Black and White Bike!!!
Thanks, I'm going to get the WD on Saturday so ill be able to find out about it then
Anyone seen the Eldar list on BeastsofWar channel on YouTube? Man that is some powerful list.
I certainly did a chuckle at the thought of all those carnifex's (up to 9) running around like wallies chasing stuff they'd never reach. But they always say that about rage on BOW, however on a WH40K battlefield it's not as easy as that, there's the rest of the army to stop you doing it.
Just a note that the Spearhead Formation, Outrider has been updated on the GW link to include Skimmers. So you you can actually field the formation as pictured!
