Four rhinos in a line, charge forwards with the princes behind and the predators static firing away. Once the formation hits the enemy lines you would use the princes to pull enemy units into rapid fire range and block other enemy units paths with rhinos, concentrating on a few units a turn to remove them from the game. Once you have lightened the enemies model count, you charge in and bash there heads in with your powerfists and daemon princes. And the Ork list: HQ Ghaz [225] Big mek w/KFF [85] TROOP 30 Slugga boyz w/nob, 'eavy armor on nob, powerklaw, bosspole [225] 30 Slugga boyz w/nob, 'eavy armor on nob, powerklaw, bosspole [225] 30 Shoota boyz w/3 big shoota, nob, powerklaw, bosspole [235] 30 Shoota boyz w/3 big shoota, nob, powerklaw, bosspole [235] 3 Meganobz in trukk w/ram [160] 12 Slugga boyz w/nob, 'eavy armor on nob, powerklaw, bosspole, trukk, ram [157] ELITE 13 Lootas [195] 14 Kommandos w/2 burna, + Snikkrot (15 models total) [255] TACTICS Either hold the two trukks back behind cover or keep them in reserve, and then use them for mid-game support or late game objective grabbing. Outflank with the kommandos to hit where it hurts most, as Ghaz and the boyz march up the field and the lootas hide in terrain and deal with armor. ADDITIONAL: We have the option of putting Ghazghkull with the meganobz, rather than a group of 30 boyz, Depending on the opponent The mobz of 30 boyz against the units that have power weapons or similar attacks, and the meganobz against units that don't. Ghaz works against anything, but if we decide put him with the meganobz, then we will hold that unit in reserve, so they don't get picked off first turn. If he's going with a 30 boy mob, I'd put him with the shoota boyz, since he'll be slowing down the entire unit. Never keep him on his own so he does not get picked off. If playing annihilation, instead of going for objectives, you could use the trukkboyz as calvary. Hold them back the first turn or two, well hidden, and then rush them out to join assaults already in progress. The meganobz work the same way, although they're best against vehicles. Mission: seize ground. Deployment: pitched battle. Get voting people, please cast your vote in bold. |

For me, this comes down to weapon choices. If the CSMs had a little more anti-infantry fire than Meltas and Lascannons, then they would be able to inflict some nasty casualties on the Orks before engaging the rest in combat. But those units of Orks are going to cause massive headaches for the CSMs. -AFG//

The Lash Princes will allow the CSM to pull Orks away from the KFF/cover to shoot at their leisure. The fact that there are only two trucks means that there's not a lot of chance they'll make it past AC/Las Preds, but then again, you never know with that Ramshackle business. The only wrench in the gears will be the kommandos sneaking in to knock out the tanks, but the tanks will likely not be a necessity by time Snikrot's boyz make it on the board. Throw in the heavy flamers, and the Orks will not be having a good day. This looks like it would be a great brutal game to see played out, based on both lists and tactics, I think the followers of Chaos have the board control necessary to deny the Orks a swarm advantage. CSM, though it could be very close.

these are two real evened up lists in my opinon. The CSM's are trying to set up a mid field battle line and bring the enemy to thier guns, and the orks are just dieing to gt near the enemy with soo many models and chwew right through thier guns. i mean, 120 models? the lash will work real well though, grabbing a unit of orks and throwing them intoa meat pit of bolters piecemeal. But just how well is that going to work? there are just ALOT of boyz. And ghazkull if he makes it to the front will tear right through these boyz. the trukks are pointless, the preds will send them flying, but the ckommando's have nothing to take them out with. I'd have to say though, that theCSM army will be able to work thier lash technique enough to wear the orks have been whittled down severly. the ork's just don't have enough anti tank to stop this armoured foe from halting.

Chaos just doesn't have the firepower to handle that many Orks. If they had taken more templates and anti-infantry things would be different but I say Orks take it.

Rep Power: 24 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Orks take this one easily. 120 boyz marching up the field with half of them (or more) under the cover of a KFF are going to leave the CSM very little board to hide in... and the powerklaw will make quick work of the vehicles & DPs. Not to mention the Lootas can probably take down a rhino or 2, or a Daemon Prince and take away part of the advantage this list has.

Only the lash could help saving the CSMs. And I don't think they'll suffice. Lootas will demolish the rhinos, while kommandos will most likely disable de preds with rear charges. The mass of orks, supported by ghaz and the MANZ should finish off the CSMs. ORKS

The chaos list has spent too many points in AT and not taken enough anti infantry weapons to kill off all those orks before they charge.

| Senior Member | CSM will buy some time with their "armored wall". Their guns will eat those orks up, and there is no chance that all of those units will be able to take the predators, the princes, AND the terminators. If the strategy holds, Chaos wins the day.
