Space Marines not doin' so good this time around ...

Well the Pheonex Knights or Smurfs of Death should make it into the top 16, the CF 5th company are likely to stay up there as well. But yeah that would only be 2 out of 8 marine lists in the top 16.

To be fair it looks like only 1 out of 4 eldar lists is going to make it in (maybe one of the three at 3 points could sneak in but seems unlikely). Both Tau are probably out also. I am suprised with how well chaos, both marine and demon, are doing.

Yeah all of the chaos daemon lists are in the top 16. Don't discount the orks though, 3 of teir 5 lists are up there.

nice to see a DE list near the top
-A tau, dark eldar and slaanesh csm player
-vassal player
-And always on LO chat..

One of the inherent problems with VW in general is that the people who are voting don't always have a complete enough knowledge of both armies to really be able to argue both sides of the fence. I've seen a couple of battles where there were some reasonably obvious tactics/etc. that people didn't think of, thus making the battles complete blowouts when they should have been much closer. It's the nature of these things.
Cool table, dan.Good to see where everyone's standing.
More than half of the top lists have at least one tie or loss ... I don't see the blowout problem. A few more votes against wouldn't change the point totals at all.

It's less of a problem of points and more just a problem of the individual threads. Lack of knowledge and/or experience can produce some wildly inaccurate scenarios, and that then prevents a few lists from having wins or at least draws. Just something I noticed, the system itself is good (what dan's doing), but Votewar as a whole suffers from this same problem.

It seems the battle between the MMMMMM and the Smurfs of Death was added incorrectly. This table shows that MMMMMM won, but in reality the Smurfs of Death did.
