Good job, more rounds and my list will continue (with the grace of the ????????).

Also there have been ZERO Ork and IG (unless you count AC) entries for this votewar, as well as Zero SoB and GK. Can we encourage use of these armies?

I've submitted one of those four (not saying which one) for next votewar, so we'll see at least one.

Oh my Gods no - I'd go crazy if I started them back to back to back, and I feel they'd lose a bit of their appeal if there was always one running. I don't mind someone running a mini during the down time though, if anyone wants to take up the referee position for that. (I also wouldn't mind being able to participate fully in a few of those debates....)

It looks like that unless something drastic changes in the next three hours, I have my four winners already. That could change if a flood of votes came in, but I think I already know who's going to be in the finals. So no need for a semi-finals.

About the points system - I think it worked, but only partly. It'd have been much more fair if everyone would eventually play everyone, but that's just not possible in a setting like this. With just the five rounds, it basically boiled down to that if you lost twice, you were out. Losing once was okay, as you still had a chance to make it to the finals, but there was zero chance if you lost more than that.

So I'm looking into Double Elimination next VoteWar. I mean, basically, that's what we were doing anyways. It's still much more fair than Single Elimination, but I don't need to worry so much about keeping track of points. I can still run battles for those that have been eliminated, just so they still have people commenting upon their lists, if ya'll like.

As for next VoteWar.

No Comp Scoring will be present. It didn't go over as well as I had hoped, but that's okay. Since I'm looking into dropping the scoring system anyways, it's all for the best.

1850 point lists. Since I've already recieved five lists for that amount, we'll go with that. Next VoteWar we'll see about changing it - may up it to 2250 or 2500. No more than that though. We can come down from there in the future. I'm comfortable with the 24 list limit - it wasn't hard to fill, and only one person was left out.

New rule effective now - if you submit me a list, and I accept it as legal, no changing it! I feel bad, but it's the only way I can keep my sanity. Changes to make a list legal are always okay, and those people who have submitted before this post are still welcome to swap out their lists if they feel necessary.

No Armoured Company. I know a few people wanted them in, but the majority spoke.

So how does everyone feel about that? There really isn't that big of changes, once you think about it.

You also got your list in before I posted that, so you're free to change once if you like.

Winners of this round -

Battle #49 - Tau with a score of 4 to 0.
Battle #50 - Blood Angels with a score of 4 to 2.
Battle #51 - Night Lords with a score of 3 to 2.
Battle #52 - Eldar with a score of 5 to 2.
Battle #53 - Dark Angels with a score of 5 to 0.
Battle #54 - Necrons with a score of 5 to 0.
Battle #55 - Space Mainres with a score of 7 to 2.
Battle #56 - Armoured Company with a score of 6 to 1.
Battle #57 - Dark Angels with a score of 4 to 1.
Battle #58 - Eldar with a score of 3 to 0.
Battle #59 - Dark Eldar with a score of 3 to 2.
Battle #60 - Necrons with a score of 6 to 3.

This leaves us with four top scorers - Strike Force Igor (Dark Angels) with 8 points, Dark Eldar Wych Cult with 8 points, Necrons with 10 points, and Craftworld (N)ine (Eldar) with 10 points.

I'll have battles up for them shortly. All of them will be playing each other. Because of this, one match will be a repeat - but I want people to treat it as a new match. I'm not going to say which match is the repeat. Remember that the list that scores the most votes between all six battles will be the winner - so if you vote in one thread, try to vote in the others as well to keep things even.

I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed.

For next round, once people are double eliminated, could we not run battles including them? It's just that as a voter, it was starting to get wearisome to vote for 12 different battles, 5 times over.

I agree.

This has been a long haul.

I've found myself starting to write one line vote/justifications.

And if I'm getting tired of typing,

Kudos to Caluin for putting in the work on all the threads.
