    - x5 Deathspinner

    Anti-Light Infantry / Horde Summary
    - x6 Flamer
    - x5 Deathspinner
    - x1 TL Shuriken catapult

Strong, extremely resilient list. Very difficult to amass sufficient high S weaponry to take out 2 wraithlords, 2 wave serpents, and 3 falcons. Mobile use of wraithguard in serpents; equal strength regardless of armour values. Strength versus MEQ in firepower and defensiblity, strength versus hordes in evasion (high maneouverability) and attrition until safe situations, at which point flamer death squads can exploit templates for casualties.

The wraithcannons will kill the monoliths. Then the eldar have starcannons and falcons and wraithlords to win

    Eldar

    i vote necrons

-the wraithgaurd will get blown out of their transports as they try to advance and kill the lith, then they will be further shot as they are entangled, they will die before they can hurt the liths. the warp spiders are ineffective, and will die quickly.

-what is left is 2 wraithlords, and 3 falcons VS most of the necron army, and while they are very hard for them to kill, they also won't kill many necrons. tthe necrons shouidl be able to take down a flacon/ wraithlord or 2, and win the mission.

Getting the wraithcannons into range isn't particularly feasible, and even then they aren't assured effectiveness. Odds are about 1/2.

Still though, getting those wave serpents close is hopeless. There is nothing better at taking down wave serpents then massed warriors.

Also, given the fact that it can't penetrate, the singing spear is worthless as are the pulse lasers.

I vote Necrons because of their "invulnerable" monoliths

Ditto, the monoliths and the Eldar's inability to damage them is going to be the decider here.

    Necrons

    Necrons

The monoliths are going to really decide this match the eldar will have to devote way too much firepower against them to bring them down will the warriors pound the squads to dust.

    Necrons
The monoliths aren't going to be killed by 2 wraithguard units, with that ordnance and all, and after that there isn't much the Eldar can do except die.

Necros, this eldar list depends on the opponent dieing to 6S weapons, necros dont care if you kill them, so they will lose. Also, the monolith could teleport those warriors for some rapid firing action against the eldar faclons.

So the eldar really cant do any damage to the necros, while the necros can do mild damage to the eldar, so necrons win

The Singing Spear can penetrate, note that it's AP n/a. What weapons can't penetrate? It specifically lists in the rulebook that weapons with AP- cannot penetrate. There are AP- in the codex (Deathspinners). However, the Singing Spear is not one of them.

The Wraithguard will have to eliminate the monoliths. However, they are also the best unit in the Eldar codex to take versus monoliths, and a total of ten wraithcannon shots against a monolith is likely to see it taken down:

    10 Wraithcannon Shots on BS4
    66% chance to hit = 6.6 hits
4+5 to glance, 6s to penetrate
    = 2.18 glances, 1.06 pens

That's one turn of shooting. If it doesn't cripple a monolith, it'll destroy it.

    Eldar for the mission.

Im with Red on this one, the maneuverability of the Eldar will allow them to bypass a good amount of Necron firepower, allowing a fast surgical strike against the Liths, however, should they get all bad rolls... they will take some casualties because of it. Once this has been accomplished, its a matter of mopping up.

    I vote the Eldar.

    Cheers,
    Dave
