hmm too fairly even matched lists...lemme see if I can summarize some strengths: ALPHA: - 2 Exo's means ability to pop Rhinos - Dominions = good tank hunting/vehicle popping unit - Cannoness can deal some pain...possibly knock out a tank -Good AT seraphim - Immolator BETA: - Retirubtors will play significantly in this battle, esp. if they get DG - Melta line squads give them early advantage in knocking out other vehicles - More seraphim..can be a bonus Weaknesses: ALPHA: - not a lot of bodies - no AT ability early on BETA: -limited long range AT ability - over-reliance almost on close range AT I can see this battle playing out in ways. First is that both send their initial squad rushing at each other ASAP. In which case ALPHA will lose their transpo to the meltas and will effectively be stuck out in the open. Though the upside is if BETA uses the fire points it counts as open topped so those flamers can then unleash some hell. I call this outcome a draw, that slightly favors BETA Second scenario I see is ALPHA hanging back a little and waiting for BRAVO to get close and disembark...and then flaming them to death. This scenario doesn't seem as likely, but it is possible. This one I give to ALPHA if they get DG. It really comes down to who has momentum after turn 1. And in either case, if it goes in any of the above scenarios I'd say no one has real momentum. It would then come down to who can get more and better units on the table. In which case I say it'll be a close toss b/c BETA can get the Rets, but ALPHA can get the Exos. And once ALPHA gets the Exos on, it's all but over...unless BETA gets its Exo first. I see there being a brief Exo duel, prolly 1-1, but best case scenario would be 2-1. BETA would surely lose this battle and ALPHA would then have free reign on long range AT on the board. They could pop rhinos with ease and weaken any survivng sisters. The Sisters v. Sisters battles would be darn close....prolly draws most of the time. Immo would come to shine here b/c if it hits a dosmounted squad they're pinned. So those Dommies can roll up and melta anyone. Tough call. I'm leaning toward ALPHA, but I want to see what other arguments are there I may have missed.

Oh god no. Another sisters vs sisters recon. ok since theres no land raider and the lists area all but identical I blatantly refuse to vote on this. Have fun with this battle everyone else.

Wow I feel stupid cuz I thought they were playing a Patrol and were thus only starting off 1 on the table from the beginning. Since that's not the case I firmly give this to Sisters of Battle: ALPHA Team With 2 Exo's on the board right away. BETA's Exo will be hard pressed with will fall quickly. With it out of the way, box of the Exo's can concentrate on the Rhinos. Seraphim can do the same. W/O Long Range AT support BETA's Sisters will be stuck in the middle of the field once their Rhinos are gone, easy prey to the Exos and ALPHA's Sisters. And the Immo lato will definitely come in handy here, rushing up and unloading holy promethium on anyone. Followed by 4X melta shots from the unloaded Dommies. The only saving grace I see is the Rets, and if they get DG. But even still, the 2 Exo's are what wins it for ALPHA here. With their transports gone or severly threatened, BETA loses all momentum and ALPHA can pick them off at their leisure (for the most part)

Woah, I think in this one I'm leaning towards a tie. They're just too evenly matched, with a few toys on one side or another that's different.
