when we went to gamesday an we talked to one of the mini designers my friend whos an american (we live in UK) got one guy into a discussion about the moulds and casting. the guy was really forthcoming about chatting quite happily knowing what was happening next me and the other two with us (one an ex and one a current member of staff) were trying hard not to laugh. So when my friend turns round and says "well thanks thats a big help for when i set up my company" the guys face was a picture it was all a wind up but of course he didnt know that.

i read that counterfit thing in WD first and the first thing i thought was GW trying to scare its punters into not buying cheaper models of ebay and car boots. I've bought from both and they were fully genuine models and if they were fakes then even GW staff members cant tell the difference. not to mention that buying a bulk load off ebay saved me over 70 quid if i bought them in GW and thats with P&P there probably are counterfit models out there but ive never seen them
