I've used it before. It's sheets of plastic, probably about 1/8 inch thick or so, comes in sheets that probably measures like 6" x 10" or so. It's easy to work with, you just score it with an exacto knife in any shape, and bend it and it comes out how you want with minimal cleaning. It's very handy.

One sheet will run you about $3. My friend got it, I don't know where from (somewhere online I think), but I think he said that plasticard is a foreign name for it, and it's called something different in America.
