Also, try thinning the red or using a drying retarder. the paint looks a little glugy in sections so watering it down and doing more coats should leave the marine with a smoother finish.
Finally, and being pedantic, is that a sprue mark on the left shoulder guard?
Now that I've said that, i'll note your working in red which I think (along with white) is a pain. It looks fine so far but I think these pointers should help it look alot better. |
Thanks for the tips, but this is just my basecoat. I just wanted to get some input before I inked it and started highlighting.
