Not quite. If a fanatic would end it's move on top of another unit (friend or foe), it's placed 1" beyond that unit in the direction of it's movement. Snotling bases are 1.5" or so wide, so you could concievably use them to add an extra 2.5" to your Fanatic's movement. Hmm, I can see how that might work. If your snotlings are positioned so that the front of their base is 7" away from the front of your unit, you would only need to roll 5 or more (as opposed to 8 or more; rolling 5 would put the fanatic in the snotlings, thus placing them an inch beyond) to have the fanatic move 8", ergo hitting the activating unit.
