Thought up some rules for my own special character, I would like to know what you guys think, is he to good, to expensive, to cheap, is he playable anyway?
Garsnik, the lone gobbo. Point cost: 250 pts, uses 1 hero choice.
Can not be the army’s general. There always must be another character to lead the army.
Garsnik always was a little different than the other goblins. He is crippled and he is a lot bigger than normal goblins. The other goblins (and orcs of course) bullied him (or smashed his head against the ground, wall or any other solid object at hand), so after some time he leaved his house and started to wander about. And so he discovered that he had magic capabilities.
He searched magic items to assist him when he uses magic. After a while he mastered the magic winds enough to call him a shaman. But still Garsnik wasn’t satisfied, so he continued his search for power. On his way he ran into a bunch of black orcs fighting against lots of Skaven rats. Despite of his sad past he aid the black orcs in battle and casted a devastating fireblast on the Skaven. The cowardly rats turned tail and ran. The twenty black orcs who had survived the encounter with the Skaven felt to their knees for Garsnik’s mighty powers. And so it came that the black orcs accompanied Garsnik trough to rest of his journey. Almost all died when they tried to capture arcane items. At this time, just two of the black orcs are still alive. Qwasch and Gniv are their names. And they will be at his side until the end of their lives.

Garsnik is a lvl. 2 wizard.
Shield of Cover: Shield. Gives a 5+ ward save.
Staff of Fire: Arcane. Staff that gives Garsnik a third spell from the lore of Fire.
Pyromaniac: Garsnik only uses the Lore of Fire
Quick cast: As a charge reaction Garsnik may choose to send forth his bodyguards to hold up the enemy so he could cast a weak fireball (only against the unit that charges) Garsnik may cast this spell only with 2 power dices (he generates them up at that very moment and may only use them now, and for that spell) Cast on 8+, enemy may dispel as normal. If cast successful the spell causes D3 Strength 4 hits on the charging enemy. This spell can’t hit Qwasch and Gniv.
Qwasch and Gniv:

4 5 3 4 4 2 4 2 10
Equipment: Great Weapon.
Unbreakable: Qwasch and Gniv would give their lives for Garsnik, so they’re Unbreakable. And if Garsnik dies, they must roll on the reaction table. They aren’t Unbreakable after Garsnik died (unless a 6 rolled on the Reaction table.)
Guardians: Qwasch and Gniv must be in 2’’ of Garsnik, at all time.
Blessings of Garsnik: Garsnik treated the weapons of his bodyguards with a spell. Their attacks, with their weapons (and Garsnik’s staff) count as flammable.
He also treated their heavy armours so that all flame based (magic and normal) attacks are resolved with -2 strength (to a minimum of 1).
1-3: Qwarsch and/if Gniv don’t know what to do, and because they don’t know their masters capabilities, they will just wait for him to return from the dead. They have to be within 3’’ of the dead body of Garsnik and will charge the closest unit within 5’’ of the body. In addition they follow the rules for Stubborn.
4-5: Qwarsch and/if Gniv are driven by raw anger and must make a charging move to the closest unit. They follow the rules for Frenzy until the game ends/they’re dead or if beaten in combat or fleeing for any other reason.
6: Qwarsch and/if Gniv must move to the closest character and they will aid him in battle and count as his/her bodyquards. (If the character is in a unit they’ll follow the same rules, except instead of being 2’’ of the character, they must be in 2’’ of the unit. They will fight in the first rank automatically if the unit is engaged in close combat – except if the rank doesn’t include any normal models than they’ll be placed in the second rank)
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT IT

Hey, good job Mors! I think you've done a pretty good job. I don't know abou the price (I'm not an orcs player myself) but it seems reasonable. Just a small problem though, when you wrote that Qwasch and Gniv use Two-Handed Weapons, do you mean they use Great Weapons, or halberds, etc, cos they're all two handed weapons, but they have different attributes. Apart from that good job!
Thanks I'll change it into great weapons.
I'm not a Orcs & Goblins player myself, so i'm not sure about the price either
But thanks, I appriciate that someone replies

Also, I think maybe you should increase the power of the 'Quick-Cast' fireball. S3 is probably not powerful enough. Maybe you would want to change it to S4, or alternatively make it d6 S3 attacks. That would make it a more valuable ability. Just a thought.
But if i would change that wouldn't it be a bit to good?
But i think i would change it... Because he isn't really good in combat..
And it will make his unique ability more stand out.
But should i make it D6 Strength 3 or D3 Strength 4? I think i'll go for the first one, but what's your opinion?
The first one can create up to 3 more attacks than the second one. But the attacks it has created are weaker... But since you only throw 1 dice, it could be either 1 or 6 attacks... the S3 makes that as a follow up there need to be 4's to wound at least, and there is no armour penalty... so it doesnt really make the attack stronger.
The second one means more hurt. There is the change for 1 to 3 S4 attacks... that means 3's to wound and -1 to armour!
I think the second one makes it a more stronger attack. But why not say that he can use the first spell from the lore of fire as a stand and shoot reaction, but with an spell value of 8? (so cast on 8+) that makes it hard to cast with just 2 dice (average of 6) but when it is cast it does deal some damage!
oow, and have you thought about the fact that there are special magic items that have the ability to completely ignore flammable attacks?
btw, I think the points are fine, they are a bit at the high side (a normal shamaan is about 100pts I believe) but since its a named character that is accompanied by 2 black orcs....
Hmm, maybe is the second one better indead. More change to really kill some units.
I raised the spell value, because if it would easy to cast every time he got charged there will be a bit of a automaticly counter attack,
and because of that it's a quick cast he needs to do every thing quick, so it's hard to cast a spell (i think?) And as it is a charge reaction, he can use up all of its power dices and then, when he gets a charge, generats 2 extra power dices, so he can cast about 3 spells in 1 turn if he gets charged.
And i thought to make it so that he can't miscast, but that would be in a struggle with that he needs to do every thing fast (so more change for a miscast
would you rather say, i think). But i'll change it into D3 S4 attacks or something else? Or with something more?
And about the 'ignore flaming attacks' how should i handle that? It would be weird if i just say that their weapons ignore that rule, right? That's not really fun, it needs to be normal, not overpowerd or some So how would you guys handle that?
Thanks once again
I reckon that maybe they shouldn't ignore the ignores flaming attacks rule. He is a fire shaman after all, and it would be silly to give him that rule. I think you are just going to have to be careful around units that ignore flaming attacks. I think the d3 S4 attacks are good, cos it makes them all the more lethal if it minuses one from their armour save.
