The fluffwars we had a while back were great, really great. The creativity was inspirational. Isn't it about time for maybe a second one? I don't have the time to run one though ( blasted studies! ) so that's why I'm asking. Anyone up for the challenge, maybe one of the previous organisers? Tashin?
I'd be willing to try running one, or participating, either way. They shouldn't be too much work really- not like the arenas are. Hasn't quite been a year yet though. We'll leave this up for a bit, and see what happens. I'd like to get the 40k-ers in on this as well, just to get some activity. That, and I'm gonna talk to the Hat, and see if maybe we can't get a bit more support on this (badges anyone? )

Would it be 40k or fantasy this time round? If 40k I know my other half would be up for it but I think I'd end up butchering it
Fantasy: Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Beastmen and Tomb Kings.
LotR: Misty Mountains and Rohan
I'm definetly going to read em all
I guess since theres alot of 40k ers around here maybe it should be 40k, although i'd vote dragons & elves myself
About the previous FW, which story was the best that you remember? (If it was nice im sure you still remember it, right? Right?? )
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
I was going to suggest doing one in the 40k section, and also on in the WHFB section. If we could perhaps move it to the Fiction Forum, under our handy "contests" tab, I'd be willing to do that as well. It's just an attempt to give everyone a shot at participating. Each group would compete against itself, you could enter both, or just one of them.
Digger- being the egotistical madman that I am, I usually go back and reread the stories that I posted up. But I'd have to say that some of the best writing came undoubtedly from Vendreciese. Everyone had their gems, but he was pretty consistent in his quality. The finals were ridiculous- I was so burned out from RL events that I just said "to hell with it, I'm writing a poem". I believe a good time was had by all, last go-round.
I'd be interested in participating, though I'm not sure I could pull off 40k as it's been some years since I've even paid attention to it beyond seeing the new model ranges.
I am heading off to the Peace Corps. It is bery likely I will not be back. Good luck to all of you endeavors.
Consider me interested. Might also give me the motivation to translate more of my armies fluff
The Silver Knights of Tor Adrac (He): 26/2/4
The Spears of Slaanesh (Woc): 7/2/5
Battlegroup Chalybso (GK): 7/3/3
Well, Tashin's been inactive for a few weeks, and The White Lizard has been down for almost 6 months now, so I guess it falls on someone else to work this thing out. If nobody else steps up, I'll get started on it (I'd much rather participate, haha).
I'll put up a thread tonight after work and start picking up entrants. In the meantime, if you've been following this thread and want to participate (or better yet, volunteer to lead) go ahead and use this thread.
What did you veterans like and dislike from the last one?
