I want to make a Gangus kong army. What kind of troops should I use out of the chaos troops selection? Should I just use maruaders or just warriors? Anyone know the kind of army or the tactics he used? If so I could use your help.
Im assuming that by Gangus kong you mean Genghis Khan or Jenghis Khan or Temujin as was his actual name the Genghis Khan part was just a title. Anyways, the Hob Goblins kind of already are the mongols but if you really want to do mongols with chaos I would say do pretty much pure mauraders with lots of maurader cavalry, and thats pretty much it. His tactics were pretty much ride around shooting arrows, tiring out your enemy then turning on them and slaughtering them, so lots of fast Lightly armored troops (mauraders and maurader cavalry) and do hit and run stuff, and yeah I guess thats it.
Ghazak Kahn is the Gengis Khan of Warhammer, he's actually really hard for a Dogs of War character! decent ward save, immunity to stand and shoot and a sword that's like the biting blade only better!
But let's not forget that, like all medieval nobles, the mongol nobility functioned as heavy cavalry and wore masses of armour, and very effective they were too. Chaos knights would be quite appropriate.Originally Posted by jolly death
They also used auxilliaries from countries they conquered.
Thanks for the replys and the help after I make my Khorne crush army. Ill have to make the army I was just wrighting about and it should be fun to play to.
Ok now just remember it’s Kahn not Kong
One makes me think of a legendary leader the other, a giant ape
Of course you could use the Southlands Apelike Beastmen, but I don’t think it’s what you want
