Me and five freinds are doing a campaign. We have all come to an island to find something. They meet each other and fight for the island. Each one of us have to write 100 word minimum fluff to say why you are coming to the island. What do you think of mine?
Urgil Thunderaxe dreamed about stuff like this. For all his life he had searched for one special something, that special something was riches beyond his wildest imagination. That was the reason he sailed with the slayer pirates. He stared out into the vast sea. He was amazed at the true beauty of the island, the pure sand, the enormous trees, the enemies waiting to be killed, THE GOLD. He smiled at the thought of what awaited him and so, gathered his troops. Each had a purpose in mind.
Porgan Masterforger the runesmith was needed to find long lost runes that his ancestors may had left on the sacred place. The slayers, to find their purpose, no one knows what monsters may be lurking. Miners to create underground paths and mine for rare substances. Thunderers because guns are vital for survival. Warriors, Urgil depends on these guys to keep him safe. The trusty organ gun no creature can stand a rapid fire from this thing.
They got off the boat and made their way onto the mysterious island. A wave goodbye and a thanks to Long Drong. They headed deep into the high jungle slashing down the thick branches as they made their way through. They come to an end and braced themselves for deranged creatures ahead. WHAT!! Chaos, Empire, Ogres, Wood Elves, Dark Elves. How did they get here?? He raised his axe and with a mighty roar he and his troops collided with the chaos. Hack n' Slash time!!
Remember this is only my second time at writing fluff, as i am only 13.Hope you enjoy. All comments will be appreciated. I will also tell you how the campaign ends. Thanks,
Well it is very good! Especially for only your second time!
A few of the sentences are a little confusing, due to too many/lack of commas. A little of the vocab could be changed, too.
Here is my edited version - you can decide whether you like it or not.
Urgil Thunderaxe dreamed about things like this. Throughout all his life he had searched for one special something. This special something was a something that all Dwarfs wanted, slayed and worked for. This special something was riches; riches beyond his wildest imagination. This is the reason he sailed with the Slayer Pirates.
Urgil stared out into the vast sea, the sunlight reflecting off the water hurting his eyes. But this didn't stop him looking. The stubborn Dwarf was amazed at the true beauty of the island he was looking at. His jaw dropped at the sight of pure sand, enormous trees, and the enemies waiting to be slaughtered. But more importantly to him, Urgil could see GOLD. His lips were now bearing a smile. With the thought of what awaited him, the anxious Dwarf gathered his troops, who each had a purpose in mind.
Porgan Masterforger, a knowledgable Runesmith was on this journey to find long lost runes that his ancestors may have left on this sacred island. The Slayers, fierce and mighty, were brought to venture with the warband for no one knows what treachorous monsters may be lurking deep within the bushes. The Dwarven Miners' job was to create underground paths beneath the sand of the white beaches and damp soils of the dense jungle, and mine for rare substances, which would later be sold for gold. Thunderers venture to the island because all Dwarfs know handguns are vital for survival. Lastly, Urgil depends on his mighty Dwarf Warriors to keep him safe from whatever may be concealed behind the sky scraping tress of the isle. And no Dwarven general leaves home without his trusty organ gun. No creature, no matter how evil, can stand a rapid fire from this thing.
They got off the boat excited yet anxious. A wave and a saying of thanks later, the warband carefully made their way onto the mysterious island. They headed deep into the deceptive jungle, slashing down the thick branches in order to make their way through. As they reached a sandy clearing, the Dwarfs braced themselves for the deranged and violent creatures they could see ahead.
Urgil let out a cry.
In front of them in conflict stood the evil forces of Chaos, The humans from The Empire, brutal Ogres, the forces from Athel Loren and the dire Dark Elves.
"How did they get here??"
The headstrong Dwarf raised his axe high above his axe, glistening in the sunlight, and with a mighty roar of battle he and his long-bearded troops collided with the Chaos. Hack n' Slash time!!

What? This post is in the Dwarf forum too! I know you are new, but please don't post in two places, even if they both suit the post. It would probably go in either anyway actually.
"Well... that hurt" - Vampire Jon Skellan (Mannfred's right hand man) after being beaten up, falling down an underground waterfall and being impaled by a stalactite.
