    Total Warhammer Pantheon

I have always wanted to join minds with others to list the entire Pantheon of gods in the warhammer world. I don't know why I didn't think of it before but the post abouit Ariel and the Lady of the Lake reminded me. Here is the format we need to use. Any god, demi-god or whatever worshipped by anyone needs to be listed. If you write a bit more in your post put the gods name and reference in bold so we can identify it quickly. It is also vital that we give references for obscure ones, like the Elven smith god, I know he exists in one of the editions of the high/wood or dark elf books but I don't know where. I don't care if you list crazy old school stuff for the original warhammer role-play. Here I will start with the gods of law.
Alluminas, Arianka and Solkan gods of law Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 1st Edition pg 210

"...and we shall pave our path to the gods with the Skulls of our fallen foes."

    Dwarf
    Grimnir
    Grungni
    Valaya

    Elf
    Khaine
    Vaul
    Isha

    Greenskin
    Gork
    Mork

    Human [Bretonnian]
    Lady of the Lake

    Human [Empire]
    Sigmar
    Morr
    Ulric

    Chaos
    Tzeentch
    Nurgle
    Khorne
    Slaanesh

    Lizardmen
    Old Ones

    Skaven
    Horned Rat

    Ogre Kingdoms
    The Great Maw

Those are the main Gods/Godesses I can recall off the top of my head, these can all be found referenced in either the current army books and/or the BRB or supplements or WD. I don't have references at the moment, perhaps others will fill those in.

    Empire:
    Manann (god of sea)
    Myrmidia (goddess of war)
Ranald (god of tricksters and thieves)
    Shallya (goddess of healing)
Verena (goddess of learning and justice)
Taal (god of nature and the wild)
Khaine (lord of murder in human pantheon)
    Rhya (mother goddess)
Sigmar, Ulric and Morr were mentioned above.

    Elf:
    Liadriel (wine and song)

    Halfling:
    Esmeralda (hearth and home)

    Chaos:
Malal (renegade chaos god, hell bent on killing all the other chaos worshippers)

    Old Faith:
The Mother (all around nature, earth fertility etc, druidy stuff)

All this from the 1st edition Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay pg 195-210

    Lizardmen:
    Quetzl
    Tlazcoatl
    Tepok
    Huanchi
    Chotec
    Itzl
    Tzunki

Those are the big ones although there are some lesser ones and variations of names of the big ones.

Sotek is arguably an Old One but because he was relatively recent he isn't considered one by some and yet he is worshipped by others.
Ask me something about Warhammer: Age of Reckoning.

My goal in staring this thread is to find the overlaps and holes in the toltal pantheon. There is anothe thread going right now about ht lady of hte lake and ariel being he same person. We need ot find htese overlaps and see who is worshipping who. Any info on Estallia, they have the inquisisiton but who do they worship. Chaos Dwarfs, is Hassut (or whoever it is) a new chaos god or do they worship an aspect of one of the big 4, same with Skaven. Cathan gods, Nippon gods, Arabian gods? Any obscure mentions of gods in army books, WFRP books or adventures?

Damn, this is a great thread! Unfortunately, I'm not cool enough to know anything other than the Big 4 Chaos Gods yet... I will definitely kee[p[ an eye on this thread for more knowledge!

I would suggest that rather than just listing hard-to-pronounce names, you write a short description of each god(ess) also. That way, it'll be easier to identify overlaps at a glance.

Here's my 2 pennies, although my currency is practically dirt compared to the Masters:

    Chaos Gods
    - Tzeentch: God of Change, Time, Chaotic Magic, Mutation, and Manipulation
Aliases: Tchar (far north), Chen (far east), Shunch (equatorial south)
    - Khorne: God of Rage, War, Bestial Strength, and Blood
Aliases: Arkhar (far north), Kharnath (far north), and a POSSIBLE link to Khaine (elves)
    - Nurgle: God of Decay, Famine, Pestilence, and other causes of decline, such as aging
Aliases: Nurglitch, Onogal, Neiglen (far north)
    - Slaanesh: God of Seduction, Pleasure, Arrogance, Excess, Art and Music,
    Aliases: Shornaal, Lanshor (far north)

EDIT: My source was the current Hordes of Chaos army book
    Armies:
    Tyranids: 2500 pts
    Imperial Guard: 1000 pts
    Witch Hunters: 1000 pts

Also isn't Kronos an elven god? What is his deal?

Also, who do the Kislevites worship?
