    Vampire Ogres

A simple question. I'm thinking of doing a new themed VC army and was thinking of doing a Vampire ogre, or at least Ogre Vampire Thralls and was wondering wether this made sense and would be possible. Also could you then get zombie and skeleton ogres?

    Regards,
    Gazboy

Ogres zombies and skeletons? Sure why not? Though they would probably have to be specifically enchanted as opposed to using a catch all raise the dead spell like Invocation of Nehek. (even back in the WFRP days raise the dead spells only affected man sized creatures)

Vampire Ogres? I don't see why not in theory, though who would turn an Ogre into a vampire in the first place? Possibly a Strigoi or Blood Dragon, maybe even a Necrach if it was part of some weird experiment, but I can't see the Von Carstians or Lahmian vampires creating such creatures.

    Converting

You can convert your army however you like and thats the beauty of the Vampire Thralls in the back of the book with the alternative list. I would consider using Hunters and even Butchers as they can easily be given a Feral/Vampireish look. The Sabretusks work perfectly in conjunction as they have the over large canine teeth.

Modeling ogre skeletons would be tough. I can't think of any GW bitz right off that would work for skeletal parts on that large a model. Zombies would be easier.

You'd just need a way to track wounds on them since one ogre would have to represent four skellies or zombies.

That's the only problem I see for the vampire itself, too. A VC character will be on a 20 mm base and OK characters are on 50x50 right?
