This will be very brief, the game took about 6or so hours to play but was a lot of fun none the less.
Lord on Dragon, L4 Mage (Book of Hoeth) (high magic 1,2,4,6), L1 mage (2 scrolls), Mounted Battle standard Bearer (Battle Banner) 2 units of 20 spearmen, 2 units of 5 Helms, 17 Swordmasters (Banner of Sorcery), 6 Dragon Princes (Banner of Ellyrion, Helm of Fortune) (Battle Standard bearer here), 2 Chariots, 2 Repeater Bolt Throwers, 2 Eagles.
Dwarflord(+1 to hit, +1 Str), Runelord(2 Spellbreakers), Thane(With Rangers), Thane(BSB with +1 to dwarfs rune), Thane (Oath Stone), 20 Warriors (gt weapons) (Lord and BS, 20 Warriors H. Weapons (Runelord and Thane), 20 Hand Gunners, 10 Troll Slayers, Bolt thrower, Flame cannon, 2 Organ guns, 2 Grudge throwers, 15 Ranger Longbeards (crossbows)
Lord on Dragon, L4 Mage (Dark magic 1,6+2 more), L2 mage (Shadow magic 4, 5) BSB (hydra banner), Hero1 (maybe), 2 units of 10 Repeater xbows, 5 Dark Riders, 20 corsairs (L4 mage, Maybe Hero1), 20 Witch Elves, 24 Executioners (Banner of Murder) (BSB here), Cold one chariot, 4 Repeater Bolt Throwers.
Tzeentch Lord (Disk, magic re-rolls), Mounted Tzeentch Hero, Tzeentch Hero, 6 Chosen Knights, 20 Chaos Warriors, 2 Chariots, 8 warhounds, 5 Marauders on Horseback, 7 Screamers, 20 Horrors, 4 flamers, Hell Cannon.
Apart from HE, lists are only what I saw on the field, they will be missing stuff I think.
Anyway to set the scene: Deployment Zones were 16 on and 18" apart, 4 objectives to be claimed, 1 in each deployment zone, 2 in No mans land.
HE, Dwarf Deployment
Dragon Princes, BSB in trees over river, Dragon Behind Trees, SH Beside Trees, Eagle Behind SH, Flame Cannon, Grudge Thrower in trees West of River, Handgunners, Grudgethrower, L4 Mage, 2 Repeater Bolt Throwers on Hill, Troll slayers in front of Hand Gunners, Chariots left and right of the Swordmasters left of the hill. In front of SM both DW units, Spearmen and SH in line with the building, organ gun and bolt thrower protecting Left Flank, Eagle behind cliff on far left. Rangers behind the building.
DE, Tzeentch Deployment
Chosen knights in front of trees left of them warhounds screamers on hill behind lone tree. Dragon Behind Screamers, Marauders behind Warhounds, Darkriders behind Marauders. 3 Repeater Bolt Throwers, spread throughout openspace between river and hill, Hell cannon in the middle of that space. Both Repeater Xbows, last bolt thrower and Lord on Disk on hill. All 3 Chariots in front of hill, Chaos warriors, on their left then Corsairs, Executioners. Behind them Witch Elves and Horrors and Flamers.
One to the left of the building, just outside, one under the hellcannon, one behind Hand gunners, Final counter in the middle of the table between Dwarf warriors and Chariots
HE, Dwarves went first, A bit of rearranging for charges next turn, Rangers took Building, Rest of line moves forward. Magic phase non-event range. Dwarves shoot grudgethrower killing 1 dwarf, 1 eagle settling an old score almost forgotten about. Flame cannon killed a warhound, they panicked and ran of board next turn. 2 Single bolts leave the dragon on 1 wound. Oh yeah!
DE Tzeentch respond, Screamers and Dragon charge SH, They Flee, screamers reach HE dragon, DE Dragon Fails charge, Marauders move in front of Chosen. Other flank is static. A few casualties to Rangers from magic and shooting. Dwarf Lords warriors cop bolt throwers big time, but pass panic check. Screamers do 4 hits, 3 wounds and HE lord fails all of his 4+ saves in spite of re-rolls and only passes 1 ward save leaving him on 1 wound, in return the combined 10 attacks do 2 wounds. Drawn Combat. Oh s***!
The elves were assured that the Hand gunners would deal with the dragon so Left flank moved up L4 Mage joined SM, Silver Helms rallied Eagle flew behind their cavalry on Right Flank. Magic Freaking range, Line of sight non-event. Grudgethrowers 2 misses, Flame cannon kills 2 Darkriders Bolt throwers spectacularly fail to kill any chariots, Things looking grim for both dwarf warrior units beside building. Turns out Hand gunners can't see Dragon and so never pull the trigger (stupid mistake). Combat 2 wounds to screamers, as if by magic they disappear and 2 dragons are staring across at each other.
Dragon charges, Rest of right flank shuffles forward, dark riders and a repeater bolt thrower shoot at Eagle, they don't ruffle a feather. 2 chariots charge dwarf lord unit, 1 charges rune lord, Executioners start to advance making space for Horrors and flamers to see rangers in building. About 5 rangers are killed from flamer magic, they hold Still managing to cope in the magic phase, mostly due to a lack of range on spells. Used a rune of spellbreaking to stop ansibles black horror. Bolt throwers destroy the chariot supporting the dwarves.
The DE lord raises his mighty fist and smashes (3 S8 Hits no Armour saves) it in to the HE Lord, failing all his ward saves and becomes a bloody smear on the back of the dragon. No reaction from the dragon and the DE dragon does a wound to its royal counterpart. The HE Dragon swings back mightily the however the wounds he caused are saved and he flees through Silver Helms, and is crushed by his pursuer. 2 chariots only managed 5 wounds on the way in (impact hits and crew etc) In return the Dwarves crushed the chaos chariot and left the DE chariot on 3 wounds and fleeing through repeater Xbowmen (damn dwarf characters are rock hard). The runelords unit fared as well, suffering 5 wounds and killing the chariot engaged with it.
Runelord's unit now had objective and just had to hold for the game, no problem the HE were assured.
Dragon Princes charge and wipe out marauders, following up into Chosen, Eagle charges Bolt Thrower, Dwarf lord and unit charge Chaos warriors in Flank. Magic again a non-event, no line of sight. Grudge throwers start to hit enemies, 6 Horrors are killed. Bolt thrower fires a volley across the field at its DE counterpart killing a crewman, Single bolt sights the chosen flank and kills one knight. Silverhelms are wiped out by DE Dragon and it overruns off the table, Eagle breaks the bolt thrower crew and flys high showering the Hell cannon with gore. The dwarves crush the chaos warriors under their steel shod boots (the chaos warriors still got away though)and with a mighty whoop (or grunt) pursue into the flank of the Corsairs flank.
Repeater Xbows charged dwarf lords rear, as well as a single flamer?. Chaos warriors rallied, Executioners moved and then were propelled again during the magic phase towards the silverhelms, who fled leaving a juicy unit of executioners for the organ gun, just like they planned it. Bolt throwers wounded the last chariot, 2 of them unleashing their volleys on the eagle, and though he was fast he still suffered 2 wounds. Dragon returned directly behind the hand gunners and belched forth noxious fumes, only killing one elf crewman. The Hellcannon spewed forth the remains of former crew, narrowly missing the eagle but coating the spearmen, the smell was too much too bear for the elves even accustomed as they'd becom to the reek of dwarves, and they fled in terror. The dwarves continued to display their martial prowess killing numerous corsairs and suffering few casulties themselves. The Screamer faded out, Xbowmen ran away but the corsairs stood firm. As the Dragon princes bowled into the chosen the champion sigled out the hero charging full tilt directly at him, It was all the Aspiring Champion could do to fend off those attacks, But he still managed to hit back himself also doing 2 wound, both saved by the champions 1+ re-rollable save. The other princes manged to kill a chosen and the chosen spectacularly failed to wound in return. 5 on the battle banner and a win by 7. The chosen fled but managed to escape the pursuing horsemen.
Dragon princes scattered remnants of the Chosen, Chariot charged and destroyed the wounded Bolt thrower over running off the table, Eagle charged the other bolt thrower killing causing no wounds and drawn combat, Organ Guns were primed. Hand gunners turned around to face the imminent threat of the dragon and spearmen and silver helms rallied. Finally a target presented itself and the L1 mage cast drain magic on her DE counterpart, miscast and lost a wound and a level meaning she was L0 and couldn't use her last scroll. L4 mage cast Vauls Unmaking destroying the Hydra Banner and then attempted curse of arrow attraction, miscasting and ending the magic phase. (Go go magic elves). The technology of the dwarves was there however and the mighty organ gun spluttered and coughed and exploded, followed rapidly by the other organ gun shooting at the dragon. (That's right 2 miscasts and 2 misfire's in one turn, when it rains it pours) Flame cannon killed all the remaining Dark riders. Grudge thrower Hit and killed 3 chaos warriors. Bolt throwers fired single bolts at the dragon, hitting twice, first hit the rider doing a very respectable 2 wounds, the second hit the dragon, needing only to wound, it failed (it was a 3) and the dragon lived. Dwarves continued to cut a swathe through the Corsairs and they broke before the onslaught, but escaped and left the dwarves open to the waiting Witch elves.
THe Witchelves charged, as did the dragon, the executioners charged the bolt thrower and Corsairs rallied. The Rangers in the building continued to hold firm against the barrage of magic an dshooting the were up against, they had copped about everything that could be thrown at them. Again magic was disappointing and very little damage was done. But this was made up for in the shooting phase, a single bolt killing 6 sword masters. Hell cannon fires down at the silver helms killing 3. The witchelves charge killed all the remaining dwarf warriors and wounded both characters, the frenzied hags easily running down what remained of their stunted opponents. Executioners destroyed the bolt thrower crew who in return blew up the bolt thrower and doing 8 hits and 1 wound over running 3" putting them 1" short of the 2 surviving Silver helms. Eagle kills and breaks its bolt thrower, pursuit move hits Hell cannon.
Stay tuned for the gripping finale, As it stands, Dwarves hold 2, Chaos 1 and DE 1 objective each.
Turns out I lied about being brief.

Dude I must have more.
Nice report, can't wait til its finished
I just typed the whole thing for turns 5 and 6 and submitted it, and it disappeared. Will try again soon,
Is there any way to find it?
Dragon killed about 5 Hand Gunners, They failed to wound in return but won on combat resolution, DE Lord did not flee.
Silver Helms and Swordmasters charged the Executioners (SM in the Flank). The Dragon Princes moved to the river edge and the chariot moved back towards the Dwarf Warriors, spearmen continue to move round the back of the building. The L4 mage could finally see her opposite Tzeentch sorcerer on disc, casting Vauls Unmaking and destroying its ward save. Then casting Curse of Arrow Attraction, another miscast, and purple fire comes streaming back at her, she passes her leadership test and is fine. One grudge thrower hits and does 4 wounds to the Horrors, the other misses, one volley of bolts launches out and panics the repeater xbowmen on the hill. The other crew labors alone to reload for a final turn of shooting next turn. The Eagle kills a chaos dwarf crewman and then disappears down the massive maw of the demonic cannon. The DE Dragon and lord slay a further 4 more handgunners and win the combat but the dwarves do not flee. Silver helms are in the middle of their war cry win they collide with the executioners, they insist on finishing their hollering and don’t hit anything and are killed in return. The Swordmasters however kill 4, allowing no attacks back, It’s enough and the executioners flee and escape between the cliffs with the SM running hard behind them.
Chariot charges Runelord’s dwarf warriors, Repeater xbows rally behind the hill Executioners don’t and flee of the board. Witch elves continue to move forward Chaos warriors take objective from the dwarves in the building. The lord on a disc unleashes on the Swordmasters and the DE Lord unleashes on the Rangers, Leaving 5 SM and 5 Rangers. Repeater Bolt thrower killed 2 slayers. Again Rangers pass their panic check and hold on. The Hell cannon misses whatever it was shooting at (war machines had a pretty bad game all up). The chariot caused 3 wounds and was wounded in return, it fled, 8” but the dwarves had set the oathstone and couldn’t pursue. This left the dragon and it was tiring, It managed to kill 3 dwarves but just dropped its head for a second, this was all the champion needed and with a mighty leap he launched himself a good 4” off the ground and struck the DE lord ankle a resounding blow, the pain of this combined with the loss of blood from earlier wound was enough to cause him to faint and tumble from the back of the dragon to be trampled underfoot. This was too much for the dragon and he refused to be budged from where he stood. He was now unbreakable on top of the objective and had to be killed.
The HE Chariot charged the CO chariot, Spearmen charged the Xbowmen, The CO chariot fled through the Xbowmen doing 5 wounds and causing them to panic and flee before destroying itself on the building, both Spearmen and Chariot then failed their charge. Dragon Princes Bolted across the River with a sharp and sudden dash and straight onto the objective point they flew (Hell cannon had had to move off it in combat with the eagle). Spearmen came face to face with the chaos warriors in an effort to taunt them into a charge. Magic and the L4 mage cast Curse of arrow attraction with Irresistible force on the chaos warriors as well as Fury of Khaine, managing 4 hits and 1 wound that was saved (Magic sucked lots, I took the wrong lore and they were constantly out of range for their good spells, Book of Hoeth was brilliant, they had 11 dispel dice and some scrolls and only dispelled 3 spells the entire game). Both the bolt throwers let fly at the Witchelves but could only kill 4 of them. The grudge thrower and the Rangers shot at the Chaos warriors who could only watch in disbelief as bolt and shrapnel that were clearly wide turned and thudded back into their targets. They killed 6 but he warriors passed their panic check. The only combat was the dragon and it was weary, It only managed to kill 2 HG and in return the champion thudded his hand weapon hard onto the but end of the exposed bolt, driving it deep into the dragons heart and felling the noble but misguided beast.
The last gasp, Objectives: Chaos 1, Dwarves 2, HE 1
The Witchelves charged the spearmen and they held (on the advice of the dwarves). In a last ditch effort to tip the balance everything trained it sights on the dwarf warriors. The magic was ineffective but for the black horror that killed 2 warriors, they passed their panic check. All the shooting, 4 repeater Xbows, 3 flamers, 1 Repeater bolt thrower could only manage 3 wounds, again they passed their panic check knowing that they had to hold their ground under all but the most terrible assault. The hell cannon spewed forth bile and eagle feather coating the Dragon Princes with the stench of death and killing one of them, but they too knew the importance of their position and held firm throughout the terror. Finally it was the turn of the Witchelves, and with a blur of flesh and metal they fell upon the hapless spearmen doing 8 wounds, killing only 4 (hand weapons and shields) The champion struck back and killed a lone witchelf but it was not enough and they fled from combat easily outdistancing the Witches. The dwarves watched in horror as the spearmen broke and knew that all must be lost for elves to be departing in such haste Failed their panic check and fled leaving the objective to the psychotic hags.
Objectives: HE 1, Dwarves 1, DE 1, Chaos 1.
Victory points would probably have been a draw too slightly in favour of DE Chaos.
HE: Dragon Princes w/ BSB then Bolt Throwers
Dwarves: Warriors w/ Great weapons, BSB and Lord then Hand Gunners
Chaos: Tough call this, Screamers or Chaos warriors, he did very little overall
DE: Witchelves, then Dragon rider
My biggest mistakes,
Mage L4 (wrong lore should have been heavens), Not fleeing with spearmen
HE Dragon and Chosen knights
Authors note: Most of the casualty numbers were made up from memory so may not match with unit sizes, there was often more than one thing happening at a time.
Good report, very fun to read.
A Pleasure to read.
Appreciate you taking the time to post it.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
Thanks for the feedback everybody
Really appreciate it
