This was a migthy empires game, therefore is there a small dif. in points. 2150 vs 2100
This is my first battle rapport so it will suck.
High liche Priest with neferra's plaques of mighty incantations, 2 dispel scrolls and cloak of the dunes
Liche priest with 2 dispel scrolls and casket of souls
Liche priest with staff of ravening
Tomb prince with sword of migth and collar of shapesh
2x20 skeletons with bow and standard
1x20 skeletons with ligth armour, shield, spear and standard
Vampire count Necrarch with blood powers and other stuff
3x vampire thralls all necrarch with one magic lvl
6x 25 zombies + standard
2x 20 zombies + standard
1x Black Coach
I got first turn, not much happen I missed hitting with the catapult (in magic phase and shotting), but casket got 6 zombies in the rigth side of the tabel was unlucky with the rest of the rolls.
I have the 2 scorpions ready for attack in next turn, target vampire thralls
He just moves and try to animate zombies, got 4 of the falling back rest is dispelled.
I charge 2 of his unit with thralls and fly the carrion's over his unit blokking march moves.
I hit and wound the black coach with the catapult "str 4" only 1 wound and take down 11 zombies in the magic phase with extra shotting, take down another 9 zombies in shotting phase. catapult misfire's, no shotting in 2 turns.
I kill one thrall, but one make one wound on the other, damn'it.
I spoils animation of zombies in his turn with 2 scrolls and dispel dice, but loses the scorpions in combat res.
I have a really problem at this time my plan on take most of his army down with shotting is falling and I really don't want my prince and bowmen to get the black coach charging them so I move them back a little.
I take a chance and forcus on his counts unit with everthing, hit the unit (with help of a good magic phase) with 60 shots (half of one of bow unit is out of range) and 3 magic missiles (6D, str 4). getting the unit down to 4!? 3 zombies and the count.
For some wierd he leaves the count in the unit with 3 zombies?? I use my last dispel scroll's + dispel dice to hold of any animates and a magic missile.
I move my ushabti a bit closer, and use the magic phase to make them charge. I shot down some more zombies but there are still a lot to go.
The combat phase goes totally bad my ushabti's doesn't hit anything and all but one dies
He doesn't charge with his black coach?? But kills of my last ushabti in CC, but the count is out in the open with 2 zombie for protection. At this point if I don't get his count down I will lose big time.
I was going to target the count and 2 zombies with all I got. But I just get my first priest magic turn and 20 shot (magic shotting with bow unit) and a bound item later he is die!!
After this his army starts to fall apart, only have zombies really hurt when you do Ld tests.
The 2ed wonder of the game happens I hit the coach with my catapult and BOOM no more coach.
He didn't do much other the fall apart that turn...not many units are standing now
I shot a bit on his heavy reduced units and destroyed of one thrall units + the thrall.
All but his last thrall units was go now, but he charged my spear unit and killed a single skeleton! The unit hit back and killed the thrall and the last zombies!? Think it is the best hit/wound I ever did with skeletons
points I have 1660 left
he had 0

Really? I thought it was a pretty decent report. Nice work with the pictures, too!Originally Posted by The_other_guy
That was kind of odd, the Vampire Count player leaving his general all alone like that. And taking nothing but Zombies and a Black Coach too. And no charging? Why take a Black Coach if you don't charge it at something?Well, what do you expect from zombies! Elite, battle-hardened troops they are not!Originally Posted by The_other_guy
Anyway, well done on the report, good luck in your future battles!
Thx for the feed back.
Well he only real error was making his general stay in the open and I really don't know why his coach didn't charge. But this costed him the game.
decent report, considering it's your first, but forgive me if I'm wrong...your opponent seemed kinda new.
