    7 Gutter Runners
    Poisoned HWeapons
    84 pts

    2001 pts total
    6 Powerdice
    4 Dispeldice
    4 Scrolls

    89 models

    He had

    - a Lord with some items/virtues (dont remember what he had exactly)
    - a BSB
    - lvl1 mage with 1 dispel scrolls and the chalice
    - lvl1 mage with 2 dispel scrolls (may have been lvl2, im not certain)
    - 5 Questing Knights (contained Lord)
    - 3 Pegasus Knights with champion/musician
    - 7 Knights Errant
    - 8 Knights of the Realm
    - 20 Spearmen
    - Grail Reliquae with 14 men in addition to it
    - Trebouchet
    - 19 or 20 skirmishing bowmen

My Swarms did nothing at all, really =P . I walked forth with my swarms/PWG like a moron, and he got to charge the swarms with both large knight units (errant&realm) plus he nudged in a model of the Reliquae guys, slaughtering my swarms on the charge, and overrunned into my Globadiers, taking them all out, so they did nothing (but i think that was due to my incompency with screens in general) =P .

The Triad on the other hand, took out the questing knights and chased the Lord to 1" away from the table edge. Thankfully he failed his rally roll and left the table the following turn ^__^ . They also chased a PegKnight unit off of the table.

A tunneling team got lost somewhere outside of the battle. Darn morons =P .

Assassin took out nothing, as far as i can remember. He leaped into contact with the PegKnights as the Triad charged them, but he whiffed his attacks and got killed..

The Sensei took out his BSB, and one of his Mages, while his second mage just killed herself with the Chalice =P . On turn 6, mind you ^__^ . My Sensei died from the Fellblade that turn as well. Darn it. Didnt make 1 ward save on him on any of the three Fellblade wounds =P . Next time im hiding him with the 5 strong NRunner unit and keeping him by my mages instead of keeping him out so he has to roll the Fellblade constantly...

At the end of the game what he had left was:

    - trebouchet
    - his 19-20 Skirmishing bowmen
    - the KOTR unit
    - the KnErrant units
    - Grail Reliquae unit

    I had:

    - Triad
    - 3 Nightunners (halved NRunner unit)
    - both Sorcerors

The game ended a draw, with him having 1664,5 VP and me having 1654 VP.

As it was a game I was sure of losing (2+ AS, Ward Saves, etc) Im quite happy with the results =) .

I dont think I have anything in my list Id change much. Perhaps drop the Stars from the NRunners, really. Though without them i dont have enough models to make a 2k list ^__^ .

Sorry this isnt really a battle report, per se, but... it sort of fitted here.

Did you assault under cover of darkness or not? Nonetheless it looks like an entertaining game. The peg. knights should be the only things to worry your units, because of their long charge range. A brettonian army wouldn't stand a chance if you ran in circles around him.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel allright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace, and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.

Of course we used the UCoD rule.

Peg Knights arent more scary than the rest of the army, due to UCoD. The fact that they skirmish does give one pause, though...

The biggest problem is mages inside buses of knights, that cant be reached by anything while they cast Lore of Life spells all over the place.

Nice games then, I just new you'd take the rat with the killy blade... oh sorry I mean the Master Assassin with the Fellblade

But it sounded like a great game, the triad seem quite powerful to take out that much with only three models. I must say tho... HA! The bloody rat died!! ^_^ The fellblade is always a two sided sword, so you must decide whether to risk it or not. But it seems worth it.

    Anyways well done ^_^

    Thanks =P .

The Fellblade isnt a damned risk, i dont see how people can claim it is. A Sensei with a Fellblade has a better chance of surviving the game with the Fellblade than he has of the Fellblade killing him!

1/3 chance of 1 wound each turn, and you only have 6 turns, so generally you can expect 2 wounds on 6 turns. But you have the Ward save as well, making it even more likely that he will not die from the blade. But of course, if you have the slightest bad luck, you can get him killed in 3 turns =P . Its semi-risky, but IMO its very VERY worth it.

The fact that he did die, shuld give you a pointer as to wether it shuld be called a risk or not... ... Don`t you think?
What's the strength of tincan brets?
    Charging lance and extra ranks
Charge their flanks with some Dark Riders,
Give the silly knights some spanks!

Its friggin Skaven. They are meant to die. Plus, I really think the killing potential of the Fellblade outweights the chance that it will kill him by a great deal.

Well, my damsel died from her item too, which is one hell of a lot less useful than yours, and mine doesn't allow ward saves! Grr, you rats can have that damn cup back.

Isn't the fellblade only good for attcking characters? D6 wounds per model hit is a bit pointless against units. Or have i got that wrong?

I don't think you get a ward save either.

Aye, its only good for taking out multiwound things (monsters/characters/etc), but then again thats what the Sensei does. And you do get ward saves, just not armour saves.
